Your Sloppy Propaganda, Deliberate Falsification Of Fact Won’t Work - Amidu To Akufo-Addo
Anti-corruption crusader Martin Amidu has accused President Akufo-Addo of falsifying facts to damage his credibility following his resignation as the Special Prosecutor of Ghana. Mr Amidu said in a statement on Friday, November 27 that the sloppy propaganda consisting of deliberate and knowing falsification of facts contained in your letter written on the directions
and instructions of HE the president is so patently banal as to be incapable of convicting reasonable men who can discern factual truth from concocted falsehood except sycophants. The former Special Prosecutor was responding to the president’s letter following his resignation. Like corruption, such lies contain within themselves the seed of their own destruction no matter
how long it takes as I have demonstrated above simply the facts and truth on my side. Martin Amidu further questioned the incorruptibility of President Akufo-Addo. He asked the president to explain to Ghanaians the reasons for his refusal to interdict the Bawku Municipal Chief Executive after he allegedly engaged corruption. Anti-corruption Moses, Kindly tell Ghanaians your
reason for refusing to interdict or order the Municipal Chief Executive for Bawku Municipal Assembly to vacate her office even on voluntary or compulsory leave like you unconstitutionally did to Mr Daniel Domelevo, the constitutionally appointed Auditor General of Ghana after my several pleas with you and in spite of the fact that the first prosecution witness in the case gave evidence in chief, was cross examined and discharged on 12th November 2020 in the case of the Republic v Hajia Hawa Nicchema & seven others.
