Police have arrested three suspects in connection with the chieftaincy related disturbances. The names of the suspects were given as Ibrahim Issah, Atanga Peter and Asonba Emmanuel. The police said the suspects were among a group of people who went on rampage and destroyed properties belonging to some individuals in

 

the town. The police have since restored calm in the town and have intensified efforts to get the remaining suspects arrested to face justice.Information indicate that during the clash, one person sustained life-threatening injuries. Some residents have attributed the recent clash to the alleged declaration by one Nathaniel
