Body Of Boy Struck Dead By Lightning Conveyed After 24 hours
The body of the 17 year old boy who was also struck to death by a lightning incident in the Ho has finally been moved away from the scene for burial. The deceased, Emmanuel Torli, who sold coconut just opposite the office of Electricity Company of Ghana in the Volta regional capital died on the Monday when he and two others were struck. His body, was, however, abandoned at the scene for over 24-hours as families feared his death was connected to a thunder god also known as Xebieso. City authorities could neither go closer to the body over the same fears. But late Tuesday evening, the families finally moved in to move the body away for burial only after necessary rites were performed by a priest. The mother has been speaking to the mother on what is purported to have led to the death of his son.
