China City Mall Worker Stabs Colleague

A tragic incident unfolded at China City, a popular shopping mall in Santasi, Kumasi, where a staff member was allegedly stabbed to death by a colleague during a confrontation on Saturday morning. The cause of the altercation remains unclear, but eyewitnesses say tensions quickly escalated into violence. Co-workers reportedly raised the alarm after the stabbing, drawing attention to the scene.

When help arrived, the victim was found in a pool of blood, barely clinging to life. He was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival. The incident sparked outrage in the Santasi community prompting a group of angry youth to gather at the scene, attempting to attack the suspect and even firing warning shots in protest.

However, the police swiftly intervened and arrested the suspect, who is now in custody as investigations continue. Authorities have yet to release the identities of both the victim and the suspect.
