E/R: 2 Robbers Beaten To Pulp After Robbing MoMo Agent In Broad Daylight

Two armed robbers have been beaten to pulp by a mob at Asuboi in the Ayensuano district in the Eastern region after robbing a mobile money agent in a broad daylight and one of the robbers is also feared dead. Robbers on a motorbike, both attacked a mobile money agent in the community on the the Tuesday morning at gunpoint and

then attempted to abscond with an an amount of about Ghc 2000 but were pursued with another motorbike by the youth in the community. The robbers were captured in a Rambo style and then were beaten mercilessly. An eyewitness Kojo Minta also said one of the robbers was motionless. Both have however been rushed to Suhum

Robbery of mobile money agents in the country has been on the rise in the past few months and in some cases, these agents have been shot dead while others suffered various degrees of injuries too after losing huge amounts of money.
