The Odawna market near Kwame Nkrumah Interchange in Accra has been gutted by fire. The fire started around 1 am this dawn according to reports. Traders’ wares running into thousands of Ghana cedis were not spared in the inferno. This is the umpteenth time the market has recorded fire outbreaks. Personnel from the fire service have been able to bring the fire under control. Meanwhile, investigators are yet to ascertain the cause of the fire.
