Ghana Blind Union Appeals For Accident-Free Yuletide
The Ghana Blind Union (GBU) is pleading with motorists for an accident-free festive season, cautioning against reckless driving during the yuletide. The group in a statement signed by the Chairman, George Kyeremateng, urged both commercial and private drivers to drive carefully and also avoid careless driving such as speeding and dangerous overtaking. According to the Union, reckless driving by some motorists continues to
be a hindrance to dreams and visions, hence, the plea for an accident-free festive season. “Our humble appeal to both commercial and private drivers is that; they should drive safely and carefully, and avoid careless driving such as over speeding and overtaking during the seasonal holidays,” the statement said. It concluded, “Please accept this appeal because disability may be a hindrance to one’s dreams/visions”.
