Obuasi: One Person Dead, Seven Injured In Fire Outbreak At Bogobiri

Firefighting teams from the AngloGold, Obuasi; and Fomena Fire Stations successfully brought an inferno at the Bogobiri garage near the stadium junction in Obuasi under control. The fire, which broke out on Friday, December 13, affected five structures, including three metal containers and two concrete buildings.

The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) reported that overhaul operations were currently underway to extinguish any remaining pockets of fire within the affected structures.

Unfortunately, one victim has been reported dead and seven others who sustained severe injuries have been hospitalised in Obuasi and Kumasi.
