Residents Who Invoke Curses On Others Will Be Dealt With - Techiman Traditional Council warns

The Techiman Traditional Council has cautioned residents of the area to desist from cursing others at the least provocation or be ready to face customary sanctions of the land. In a press release signed by the

registrar and all of the council’s members, it noted that it was concerned at the recent frequent invocation of curses within the area. “Nananom are with great and utmost concern about the recent invocation of curses

within the Techiman Traditional Area as a means of registering their dissatisfaction and disappointment on issues,” the press release said. The council had therefore resolved that if anyone is caught invoking

curses over insignificant disagreements or provocation after its warning, the person will be dealt with in accordance with customary laws of the land. “The Techiman Traditional Council at its emergency Standing

Committee meeting held on Saturday, 6th June, 2020 at the Ohene Ameyaw Palace, as a matter of urgency, is cautioning indigenes and inhabitants of Techiman Traditional Area who are fond of invoking curses at the least disagreement and discontent to desist from it.
