W/R: Mobile Money Vendor Shot By Robbers

A 21 year old mobile money vendor Joseph Amoah was attacked the Friday night by armed robbers at Ahinkofi krom near the Kojokrom within the Sekondi at Takoradi metropolis in the Western Region and according to him, the incident happened around the 7pm when two young men approached him to withdraw some money but one of them pulled out a gun after he had requested their ID

card to compete the transaction. Amoah then started shouting for help after seeing the gun with them but unfortunately had no one coming to his aid. The armed robbers then managed to pull his bag which contained unspecified amount of money and then shot him in the thigh and bolted away with the monies. He is currently responding to treatment at the Effiankwanta Hospital emergency ward.
