Aftermath Of The Explosion In Lagos

Today marks one of the sad days in the life of every Nigerian. As the country is battling the deadly coronavirus pandemic, another explosion occurred in festac, Lagos which is believed to have claimed many lives in the area.

The explosion has rendered many homeless since it collapsed many buildings including a boarding school in the area. Cars and other properties were burnt to the ground. Social media users took to their various media handles to share horrific videos and pictures of the explosion as it occurred.

The cause of the explosion is unclear as some users believe the explosion occurred from a gas pipeline whilst others believe it was an error from a factory which caused the explosion.
