A/R: Armed Vigilantes Arrested At Fomena

Some armed thugs parading in Fomena Constituency in the Ashanti Region have been arrested by the Ashanti Regional Police Command. The heavily built men loaded in a vehicle were reportedly marauding in the stronghold polling stations of independent Candidate, Andrew Asiamah Amoakoh. They were arrested at

Adumenu, a community in the constituency. Suspects reportedly resisted arrest and threatened the police but eventually succumbed. Information indicates that pressure is mounting on the officers who effected the arrest to release the machomen believed to be linked to the ruling New Patriotic Party.
