Felix Ofosu Kwakye loses Abura Asebu Kwamankese Contest
Former deputy Communication Minister, Ofosu Kwakye has lost the Abura Asebu Kwamankese parliamentary contest in the Central Region by some 176 votes. He polled 24,872 votes while the NPP’s candidate garnered 25,048. Mr Kwakye Ofosu who contested on the ticket of the opposition National Democratic Congress NDC congratulated his contender in message on Facebook.

Meanwhile the Head of National Council for Curriculum and Assessment NaCCA, Mr. Prince Hamid Armah has also won the Kwesimintim seat on the ticket of the New
Patriotic Party NPP. Prince Hamid polled 24,785 of the total votes cast while his closest contender Mr. Philip Buckman also polled 13,409 votes. Prince Hamid takes over from Mr. Joseph Mensah who is the incumbent Member of Parliament for the constituency. In Adaklu Constituency in the Volta region Mr. Governs Kwame Agbodza also won the seat with a total of 13,117.
