Nana Akufo Addo Must Concede Defeat - NDC

 

 

The National Democratic Congress NDC has asked the New Patriotic Party’s NPP Presidential Candidate, Nana Akufo Addo to concede defeat. Secretary, Otukonor mentioned some constituencies that had flipped to the opposition NDC. Let me use this opportunity to as a matter of urgency and importance call on the outgoing president, President William Akufo Addo, to concede defeat in the interest of the sanctity of our democracy, he said at a press conference at the headquarters of the NDC.

 

 

NDC’s claim of parliamentary majority false

Prior to his address, the Minister of Information, Oppong Nkrumah reacted to the NDC’s claim that it had won a parliamentary majority in Monday’s election. At a press briefing in Accra on Tuesday night, December 8, 2020 the Minister of Information, Mr Kojo Oppong Nkrumah said the claim was false. He also advised NDC supporters against jubilating as it is likely to create confusion if it turns out that the results do not favour the party.
