Two Pakistani Businessmen Arrested In Lagos Over Cocaine
The Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, have arrested two Pakistani businessmen at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos. They were arrested on Saturday, November 5, with 8 kilograms of cocaine concealed in a public address system (sound speaker) while attempting to board a Qatar Airways flight
to Lahole, Pakistan via Doha. The two suspects: Asif Muhammed, 45 and then Hussain Naveed, 57, who hold Nigerian residence permits suspected to be fake are frequent travelers to Nigeria under the guise of doing textile business. NDLEA spokesperson, Femi Babafemi, in a statement on the Sunday, November 6, said that the
suspects were arrested barely a week after they came to Nigeria, that is, Sunday 30th October.
